Activated Electrolyzed Aqua Solutions


Envirolyte Activated Electrolyzed Aqua Solutions are completely non-toxic as well as 100% biodegradable as Truly Natural “Green” Products that can revolutionize the Agriculture, Livestock, Food Processing and other industries in providing natural organic products.

The production process involves nothing but Electricity, Water and Salt with all of the electrolyzed by-products reverting back to their natural state as water, other compounds and basic elements.

Electro-Chemical Activation [ECA] of water is accomplished by passing a Diluted Saline Solution through a DC electrical field in a Water Electrolyzer Cell which changes the water’s molecular structure and transfers electrical energy to the created solutions.

The design of the Water Electrolyzer Cell generates a High Intensity DC Electrical Field of hundreds of thousands of volts through which the Feed  Water must pass. 

Water activation takes place at the Anode & Cathode electrodes resulting in the creation of solutions whose properties -- including pH, Oxidation Reduction Potential [ORP] and physical form – all lie outside the range that can be achieved by conventional chemical means.

Envirolyte electrolyzers are designed to automatically produce the desired type and strength of Anolyte or Catholyte by a stand-alone unit or its incorporation into a composite overall system that is designed for a particular application.

In all their myriad applications, Envirolyte Activated Electrolyzed Aqua Solutions consist of Anolyte, Neutral Anolyte [ANK]  and Catholyte with the following characteristics, pH and ORP 

Anolyte:  Primary components:

Hypochlorous Acid (HClO)    Hyprochlorite Ion (ClO-)

            Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)             Chlorine (Cl2)        Oxygen (O2)

            Active Ingredient:  500 – 700 ppm of Chlorine 

            pH 2.0 to 3.5        

ORP/Redox:  1000 to 1200    

Anolyte is used to disinfect or sterilize where the pH is unimportant and corrosion is not an issue.  It is a powerful disinfectant against all Bacteria, Viruses, Spores, Mold, Fungi and Algae even when diluted in water or sprayed in the air.

Neutral Anolyte [ANK]:  Primary components

            Hypochlorous Acid (HClO)    Hyprochlorite Ion (ClO-)    

            Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)            Chlorine (Cl2)     Oxygen (O2)

            Active Ingredient:  500 – 700 ppm of Chlorine

Neutral Anolyte is used where pH is important. Neutral Anolyte is highly effective against a broad range of pathogens including Bacteria, Viruses, Spores, Mold and Fungi.

Catholyte Primary Components:

            Hydrogen (H2)

            Hydroxide (OH-) from Sodium Hydroxide

            Plus a small amount of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)

            Active Ingredient:  Sodium Hydroxide

           
            pH 11.6 to 12.5      
 
            ORP/Redox:  -900 to -1100

Catholyte solution is Alkaline which serves as an excellent washing liquid and can remove heavy metals from water through precipitation.


Production of Electrolyzed Aqua-Solutions  

The process of generating Activated Electrolyzed Aqua Solutions involves nothing but Electricity, Water and Salt [NaCl] in producing Anolyte [Acidic Oxidant] and Catholyte [Alkaline Anti-Oxidant] solutions which act as a powerful Micro-Biocide, a Catalyst, a Detergent, a Redox Agent and other types of activated water with many diverse applications. 

Envirolyte Electrolytic Reactors [Electrolyzers] are used in the Electro-Chemical Activation [ECA] process that begins by injecting a Diluted Aqua-Saline Solution [Brine] into the Feed Water. 

Electro-Chemically Activated Solutions are produced through Unipolar Electro-Chemical Exposure in which micro-volumes of liquid are passed through the High Voltage Electrical Field of a Double Electric Layer near the surface of the electrodes in a Special Diaphragmatic Cell which is the key component of
the Envirolyte system.

When Direct Current [DC] electricity flows through water a chemical reaction takes place on the electrodes, with a change in the chemical composition of the water near the Anode and Cathode.
 
The design of the Electrolytic Reactor generates a Uniform High-Intensity DC Electrical Field through which the Feed Water must pass.
 
The objective is to subject the entire volume of Feed Water to the electrical field at the highest possible intensity with maximum chemical exposure and minimum heat emission.
 
The water activation that occurs at the Anode & Cathode terminals results in the creation of solutions whose properties including pH, Oxidation Reduction Potential [ORP] and physical form lie outside the range that can be achieved by conventional chemical means.
 
The design engineering of the Electrolytic Reactor is difficult since the maximum intensity of the Electro-Physical Effect only occurs in close proximity to the electrode surface in an Electric Double Layer [EDL] where the electric field intensity reaches hundreds of thousands of Volts per Centimeter.
 
Since the EDL is very thin – about 0.1mm in weak solutions and much thinner in concentrated solutions – the Electrolytic Reactor must be designed to insure maximum treatment of the micro-volumes of water as they pass in close proximity to the Anode and Cathode.
 
The electrochemical activation causes water to transform into a metastable [activated] state characterized by unusual values of Chemical and Physical Properties – including the Oxidation Reduction Potential [ORP] connected with the activity of electrons in water, Electrical Conductivity, pH, Other Parameters and Properties.
